Astronautalis’ Nate Dogg Freestyle + Doomtree Showcase at SXSW

This was the third year in a row I drove up to Austin for SXSW. Every year I have plans to do some sort of ugsmag video feature with interviews etc, but once I get there all I want to do is watch rap and not do ugsmag work. I did end up taking a few iphone videos, here are a couple from the Doomtree showcase night at Flamingo Cantina — including my favourite freestyler Astronautalis improvising when Four Fists (his group with P.O.S) realized they forgot the instrumentals for their set.
