  1. I’ve been bumping this track for a couple days, its actually pretty dope! Team this shit up with that new A&E joint and its a little back to back masta ace love for late summer.

    1. yo revert, i was just thinking that and kinda buggin out over how much of a watered down Ra the Rugged Man verse that was. I heard the full version of I AM on DJ Eclipse’s show last night and it sounds a like an extra extra watery version of this one RA verse (http://bit.ly/13uNoh) it made me sick actually…

I can’t beleive how many sites are reposting this bullshit and not saying one thing about Bekay not sounding dope. Not Brown Bag Allstars bad but still pretty terrible

Can’t knock the hustle, I guess

  2. What did he say about white boys with backpacks who wear their hair long? I can’t even understand what he’s saying.

  3. I just got what he was aaying in the first verse, except there’s one word I’m missing “Nowadays I’m a ??? song”…Rare? That doesn’t make sense. Oh well.

    1. ‘Nowadays I’m A Rare Song’…as in nowadays it’s rare to hear ‘real’ hip-hop song that gets mainstream love *(makes sense to me)

  4. I’m feeling this. Bekay is a real MC and I been a fan for a while. Ace is just the god, period. Great joint, great video. I don;t think he sounds anything like Ruggedman, although I heard they have a collabo on the lp

  5. IT’S ALL ABOUT HOW HE IS HIPHOP “I AM” SOOOO YEA I THINK HE SAYS A “RARE” SONG, LIKE A REAL HIP HOP SONG IS “RARE” NOWADAYS, I GET IT I GET IT, LOVE THAT ALCHEMIST BEAT

    1. hahah my bad i just have the audio single, i never checked the video. alchemist is a beast.

  6. I’m feeling it, and it appears as though Bekay’s got some good producer’s coming through…..Of course Ace is always dope

    1. Pumpkin Head said something similar on “Emcee” on ‘Orange Moon Over Brooklyn’, he said ‘This year Puffy went from makin the band to hazin the band, some say that he’s fake, some say that he’s great, but i’ll be dammed if I walk to Brooklyn to get your bitch ass some cheesecake.” Using a reference to a news event is not biting…that’s just common knowledge. Bekay said “…where Puff can be a dick and make you walk here for Cheesecake” on a song about Brooklyn lol…now if it was the same line verbatim or very similar, ok that would be a bite, but it’s really just referencing an event that’s related to a song topic…jeesh I wonder what came first, the artist or the critic lol.
