D-Sisive – “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn”

D-Sisive - "Every Rose Has Its Thorn"

New D-Sisive track produced by Fresh Kils from D-Sisive’s upcoming album, Vaudeville.

“I selected the song that best represents where I’m going, yet never abandoning where I’ve been. Underground Hip-Hop, but with a twist. A journalist for Black Hair Magazine once labeled me The Bret Michaels of Rap. Now I’m ready to proudly wear that crown. Or Cowboy Hat. A spiky brimmed, solid gold cowboy hat covered with jewels. Sitting atop a gold dipped bandana covered with emeralds that cannot be ruined by sweat.”

  1. “underground hiphop with a twist”??

all I hear is the twist

although his voice isn’t as bad as I thought it’d be… his ear is what’s lacking the most. sloppy is good but not when it comes to pitch. don’t do it

  2. i think his rap stuff is different enough from the regular shit that’s out and that’s why he’s gained a following… this is too far mangg. i hope this isn’t the end of what he had going

  3. Dudes! I’m pretty sure this song is just meant to be funny and is not really the direction of his new album. I can’t believe all of you are taking this seriously!

Maybe this will help convince you, here’s the full text from the press release:

    Dear friends,

For the past month and a half I’ve been locked up in the studio with producer extraordinaire Andrew “Fresh Kils” Kilgour (Shania Twain, ACDC, Jon Secada) recording the follow up to my Multi-Platinum, Latin Grammy Award-Winning debut LP, Let The Children Die. Though we are near completion, we are still a few months away from the release of Vaudeville.

Not being prolific is something I’ve been guilty of. I ve been attacked in the press, and insulted by fans for leaving them dry without new material. It s been days since my name has appeared on a blog, and for that, some devoted listeners have deemed me dead. It s been weeks since I ve released new music, and for that I apologize. I m not a machine. I m merely a man. Flesh and bones. A robot, I am not.

Which is why I’ve decided to give you a taste. A lick of the spoon. A nibble of the cake. A swig of the sauce. A swallow of Vaudeville.

  4. That is such a beautiful song the words are so sweet. Brett you are in our prayers.

  5. I love this, totally different from anything else he’s ever done. He has a great singing voice.
