Serengeti & Polyphonic sign to anticon, prep new LP

Serengeti & Polyphonic

Serengeti fooled the internet last year by joking about an album dropping on anticon, but this time its for real. Serengeti & Polyphonic’s new album Terradactyl will be out June 23rd on anticon and features guest spots from Dose One, Buck 65, Renee-Louise Carafice and more. Their first collaboration Don’t Give Up came out on Audio 8 Recordings in 2007.

The anticon signing may not seem like too much of a surprise If you look at all the related collabos Geti has been doing lately: “Blood Pt 2” Buck 65 remix (feat. Serengeti + Sufjan Stevens), I Heart Lung’s “Interoceans II” (Jel Remix with Awol One and Serengeti), “Keys to Ignition” off of the new Themselves mixtape, and there’s even a newly added Alias remix of Serengeti & Polyphonic’s “2 times 2” up on their myspace.

Now what anticon needs to do is force these guys to start playing some shows outside of Chicago! Come to Texas!
