The Archive: Documentary About The World’s Largest Record Collection

The Archive from Sean Dunne.

We posted about Paul Mawhinney’s record collection a couple of times in the past, last we heard it had sold on ebay, but apparently that fell through. The Archive is a really cool documentary short about the man and his records.

  1. That seems so surreal and sad. Why doesn’t a group step in and cop it, maybe a museum or some shit? I don’t get it.

  2. yeah, its reall trippy to me that noone would up 3 mil for the world’s largest record collection. doesnt seem out of hand for 2.5 million pieces of music under the circumstance…

  3. its true that they overcompress shit now adays. vynil is way closer to actually feeling like your in a music hall than with mp3s.
