Watch out or Vinnie Paz will rip your fucking head off. Jedi Mind Tricks presents… Army of the Pharaohs, the sophomore album Ritual of Battle dropping Sept 25th on Babygrande. Ritual of Battle revisits the supergroup’s winning formula, once again featuring a dope lineup of underground emcees, including Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks, Outerspace, Esoteric, Celph Titled, Chief Kamachi, Reef The Lost Cauze & more.
Originally conceived as a fluid movement of emcees and producers, The Army has expanded to include a few notable additions: Doap Nixon, Demoz and to the inevitable delight of long-time Jedi Mind Tricks’ fans, the return of core original JMT member Jus Allah.

Nah its just their 2nd album. You’re thinking of that old Five Perfect Exertions 12″ from 1998. They put out nothing after that record until Tourture Papers in 2005.
I’m just glad they’re eating well.

No, paz didn’t go to ‘nam, but the other dude (R.A. The Rugged Man) on that track that you’re probably thinking about is the son of a vietnam vet. R.A. said that song is his fathers true story. At least his verse is anyway. But no paz man in nam. Salam
