5. That kind of destroys the myth that underground projects and artists were immune to this type of bullshit cause they don’t generate enough money and publicity.

   I guess your only safe if you sell a couple hundred copies to all your homies and their homies at shows or on the street.

6. I think it boils down to if your signed to a major or not, if you are you will have to pay for those samples if not who cares.

7. ^There are exceptions to that…like the Satchill Paige (Nestor Wynrush) fiasco. People need to lighten the fuck up and stop trying to make pennies off of everything. That being said i wonder if Jason Schwartzman is going to sue D-Sisive over the “Westcoast” sample.
