Bleubird – “Giehe 1977”

This is the first preview of my new record “CANNONBALL!!!” produced by Astronautalis & Radical Face. Bonfigliara is the village where my father comes from in Italy. “Giehe” is how my grandfather spelled my name on the bottles of wine he made for me the year I was born. Each of the men in our family has his own row of bottles on a shelf in the cellar of our family home, bottled by “Guiseppe” with hand-written tags. Mine says “geihe 1977”. In 10+ years of making music this is the first song that I have made in which I’m actually proud to present to my family. I hope you enjoy it too.
