Jay-Z “Brooklyn Go Hard” feat. Santogold

Video for the new Jay-Z track “Brooklyn Go Hard” featuring Santogold and produced by Kanye West. Visuals by Evan Roth for (Red)Wire.

From Evan Roth’s blog:

Last week I was contacted to make a video for a new Kanye West produced Jay-Z song for RED & the Global Fund to Fight AIDS in Africa. It launched today (World AIDS Day) at And while I’m happy to be able to help the cause I’m also more than a little bit excited about getting a chance to make something for the likes of Jay-Z and Kanye. I’ve been turning down client requests to use Typographic Illustration for 5 years in hopes that one day the phone would ring and it would be Hova.”

  1. kanye made a good beat, and jay-z spit a good verse……normally i would be surprised for those things to happen in the same year, let alone the same joint

    someone up the instrumental

  2. People obviously didn’t listen to The Blueprint.

Jay-Z’s rhymes are really in a different direction than what I’ve heard from him before – I like it.

    REALLY not feeling this video.

  3. i’m sure this is not an official video, it’s cool for what it is, a simple internet promo

  4. word on the street is that this track is actually for the biggie biopic “notorious”. hopefully its on the next jay album too
